Renowned Digital Health Experts Join TC4A Global Advisory Board

Tech Care for All Adds Talent to Global Advisory Board, Appointing Three Renowned Experts

Tech Care for All has appointed to its Global Advisory Board three internationally renowned digital health experts. Huguette Diakabana, Rosemary Foster and Nayan Kalnad will provide their insights starting with the company’s July 2022 Advisory consultation.

Huguette Diakabana is a global health practitioner focused on connecting people to quality healthcare and life-saving technologies. A co-founder of the African Alliance of Digital Health  Networks, she is also a Senior Fellow with the U.S.-based Aspen Institute and serves on the faculty of the Harvard Medical School Executive Program. A national of Democratic Republic of Congo, Huguette is the outgoing Co-Chair of the World Health Organization’s Digital Health Technical Advisory Group. She will lend expertise in using digital tools and deploying tech-based solutions to enhance health service quality, drawing on experience in more than 20 countries of Africa and Latin America. 

Rosemary Foster, PhD is a senior technical advisor with the University of Cape Town’s School of Public Health and Family Medicine, where her work focuses on digital interventions and informatics to support healthcare service delivery. With an academic background in social science, computer science and biomedical engineering, she has consulted and advised extensively, for example leading the development of South Africa’s first national eHealth Strategy as well as the roll-out of a unique health identifier. Rosemary will bring to TC4A her deep knowledge in eHealth strategy, health enterprise architecture and capacity-building in digital health.   

Nayan Kalnad, MD is co-founder and CEO of Avegen, a digital healthcare company supporting healthcare professionals to provide better care and empowering individuals to take control of their health. Having lived, educated, trained and worked in India, Nayan is passionate about increasing equity of access to safe and high-quality digital health products. In prior roles at Johnson & Johnson, he led the development of digital products that increased the uptake of cardiac rehabilitation care and supported patients living with HIV in low- and middle-income countries. TC4A will look to Nayan for his unique insights into provider and patient perspectives and into the digital healthcare business in emerging markets.
